Anti-Corruption Policy

We value our reputation and commitment to maintaining the highest level of ethical standards and we hold ourselves accountable to these standards. It is OPTIMAPHARM policy to conduct all its business in an honest and ethical manner.

OPTIMAPHARM has a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption and is committed to acting professionally, fairly and with integrity in all its business activities and relationships wherever it operates, and to implementing and enforcing effective systems to counter bribery.

OPTIMAPHARM will uphold all laws relevant to countering bribery and corruption and is bound by the laws of Croatia and of other countries in which OPTIMAPHARM does or intends to do business.

Ethical Labor and Anti-human Trafficking Policy

OPTIMAPHARM has a strong commitment to prohibit any form of human trafficking and modern slavery by any of its business entities, employees, and other associated parties. In compliance with the law, and to underline OPTIMAPHARM’s commitment to prohibiting these practices, our Ethical Labor & Anti-human Trafficking Policy serves to ensure a work environment that is free from human trafficking, forced labor and unlawful child labor.

OPTIMAPHARM strongly believes it is responsible for promoting ethical and lawful employment practices. These practices are also required to be followed by our service providers.

Code of Business Conduct

Our Code of Conduct paints a clear picture of what we stand for as an organization, what we expect of ourselves and what we must do to maintain our reputation. It governs how we carry out our work and clarifies what each of us must do.

OPTIMAPHARM is committed to ethical and lawful behavior and to acting professionally and fairly in all business dealings and relationships and our Code of Business Conduct (the “Code”) sets forth legal and ethical standards of conduct for all OPTIMAPHARM’s Employees and Contractors in all its subsidiaries and all current and future business relationships. The Code is intended to deter wrongdoing and to promote the conduct of Company’s business in accordance with high standards of integrity and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

This Code addresses the core principles underpinning the behavior required of each Employee and Contractor in internal interactions with each other and external dealings with Clients, Sponsors, Vendors, health care professionals, representatives of regulatory authorities and other global or local authorities, investors and other third parties.

All Employees and Contractors must act ethically and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, industry codes of practice, and Company’s policies and standard operating procedures that govern OPTIMAPHARM’s business, internal organization and interactions with business partners and all other external parties.

Patient safety and medical ethics

OPTIMAPHARM performs all activities and duties in a professional and reliable manner, and in accordance with this Code, to ensure the safety and well-being of the persons participating in the clinical trials managed by OPTIMAPHARM, the integrity of the data produced in these clinical trials, as well as the provision of high-quality services and deliverables to our Clients/Sponsors. OPTIMAPHARM’s priority is to conduct clinical research at the highest ethical and scientific standards and to ensure and protect the safety and the rights of the subjects participating in the clinical trials we manage. The Company abides by The International Conference on Harmonization and Good Clinical Practice and ISO 14155:2011 Norm (Clinical investigation of medical devices for human subjects — Good clinical practice) and endorses these international, ethical and scientific quality standards for designing, conducting, recording and reporting clinical trials.
